Response from the neighbour: I would recommend Andrea to anyone. He is a highly professional and responsible tree surgeon and insisted that we got planning permission to prune and thin out some of the 10 trees on our small plot as we are in a conservation area. One of our two oaks was being constricted by a walnut and a sycamore. This had a split trunk and was spreading over the road and the branches were being caught by high lorries. We are very new to the property and have seen the planning applications going back to 2008 which show that all the trees were regularly pruned or removed. There are 12 old stumps still on the property and all these appear on previous planning applications.

This man was happy to cut down lots of beautiful, healthy trees in our neighbours garden. He also took one which was our side of the barbed wire fence. Apparently nothing I can do now but I’m really upset. So much for protecting the environment.
